Five Guys Restaurant Review

What is Five Guys?
Five Guys is a fast casual restaurant which sells burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, fries and possibly the biggest selection of soft drinks with over 100 drink choices. Five Guys is custom made burgers meet custom made drinks! Five Guys gives you the opportunity to choose from around 15 toppings! Five Guys of course is American so the portion sizes are huge! Five Guys service is very much like McDonalds where you go up and order your food and wait for it to be cooked. You can then choose whether you want to sit down and enjoy your food or go elsewhere.

My Experience
I visited Five Guys a few weeks ago and it was easily the best burger I have had. I had a bacon cheese burger and small fries. The price of this was £11.50 and I was given a free drink too. I'm not sure if it was intentional but oh well! In my bacon cheese burger, I got two pieces of meat, lettuce, cheese, mayonnaise and bacon. It was incredibly filling. I could only eat around 2/3 of it and after that, I could hardly move I was so full! The small fries I got was absolutely ridiculous! In the photo shows a small cup of fries which you would probably think is all you get but no.... they gave me another huge scoop of fries chucked in the paper bag they gave me. Basically, the small cup of fries was doubled and that is how much you get for small fries. I would call that large fries, not small! Anyway, the burger was incredible, it was so greasy but so good at the same time. The melted cheese and that meat with the bacon was absolute perfection. The fries too were very yummy. At Five Guys, they don't use normal oil to cook their fries, they use peanut oil. There were literally peanuts everywhere in that restaurant where you could help yourself! You may think I'm crazy when I tell you how I ate my burger..... The burger was so big that I couldn't possibly eat it by shoving it in my mouth with my hands so I had to go find a knife and fork to cut it into small pieces!

Lets talk about the soft drinks now. Five Guys uses coca cola freestyle machines featuring 125 different Coca Cola drink products and custom flavours. You can basically choose to have Coke but it doesn't have to be plain Coke as you can have Coke with Lime or Raspberry Coke. Crazy right?

Would I recommend it?
Absolutely. If you like burgers then you have to try this place out! It is seriously amazing. You may think it is really pricey for a burger but it is literally incredible. Just take into consideration the portion sizes are huge so don't go ordering a large fries with a normal size burger with a drink too because chances are, you won't finish it! It is a massive struggle especially if you are a girl. You will not be disappointed if you try this place out.

Also, please let me know if you know some amazing burger places as I've been loving burgers recently and want to try out more incredible burgers!

My Rating
9/10. I haven't given it 10/10 because there are probably more amazing burger places out there which I haven't tried. This is 100 times better than places like Gourmet Burger Kitchen, put it that way.

It's Judy Time - Smokey Bronze Look

Hey everyone, I thought I would do an updated bronze look for you. This look features the It's Judy Time palette from BH Cosmetics. If you are not familiar with YouTube, a girl called Judy chose the colours and I absolutely love this palette. The colours are very pigmented and creamy and there is also a wide range of colours. This eyeshadow palette is only $9.95 and available here.

I used quite a few shades to get this smokey bronze look. I was playing around to find a really nice combination which I could do for a wedding look and came up with this.

1. Before you apply any eyeshadow, don't forget to apply an eyeshadow base or eyeshadow primer. This is an important step as it will prevent the eyeshadow from creasing and also makes the colours more pigmented, last longer and prevents a load of fallout!

2. Next step is to apply a crease colour with a blending brush. I used the tan colour in the photo numbered "1". I applied this on my crease and also dragged it a bit above my crease. To warm up my crease even more, I applied "2" over that first shade. This isn't a necessary step but I liked how it made my crease look. Applying a crease colour is very important before applying an eyeshadow colour on your lid as it helps with blending.

3. Now it's time to add some colour. I used two really nice bronze shades on my lid and applied these using a flat fluffy brush. I used "3" on the inner part of my lid and applying it two thirds along the lid before applying "4" which is a darker reddy bronze on the outer bit of my lid whilst also blending the two bronze shades together. These bronze shades are really shimmery and looks really nice so you could just leave the eyeshadow like this.

4. To create a smokey bronze look, I applied the shade above which is a dark browny red shade to my outer v. I used the brush shown in the photo as it is quite precise. Use a small amount and build the shade up as it is easier to blend that way.

5. Blend, blend, blend, and blend some more with a big fluffy brush using the tan shade ("1"). Focus the blending slightly above the shadows and make sure the outer v colour (dark browny red shade) is blended nicely as you don't want any harsh lines!

6. Apply your favourite black liner. I like to use a liquid liner but gel eye liner will do!

7. This is an optional stage but I like to apply some false lashes when I am doing a smokey look.

This is your completed look! I hope you liked this little tutorial. This look is perfect for an evening event or if you like wearing make-up like I do, you can wear it during the day!

Hope you all have a lovely day :)
